Our client FES Group was appointed by principal contractor Multiplex to deliver a new project for the University. FES Group tasked PPSL with extending the existing system for a new building connection and onward future connection on what is a busy live higher education site.
PPSL undertook numerous site surveys, as well as a leak detection survey of the existing system, to produce a suitable connection design. The design connected the building whilst taking in the level changes required. This included all off load and loading out of materials. A planned pressure test and (BSRIA) flush of the network was also completed. The project was executed to very high standards and Isoplus pre-insulated pipes were used to match those used on the existing system. The PPSL team also managed a crane contractor to unload and load out the large pre-insulated pipes on a busy live site.
This installation was delivered to the highest industry standards leaving future connection points with bypasses to prevent deadlegs. PPSL received first class feedback from Multiplex for the stringent Health and Safety standards delivered by our team and our exceptional attention to detail.
