PPSL have in house alarm (leak detection) engineers who can audit your system or locate faults in heat networks that have a leak detection system/panel, or alarm wires but no panel.

We can attend site to carry out emergency leak detection surveys and offer annual inspections and remote monitoring if required.

Unrepaired faults, be it leaking carrier pipes or outer casing joints can quickly escalate from being simple repairs to costly large-scale replacement works if not resolved.  PPSL recommend that a leak detection system and steel pipework with leak detection wires are installed for most projects to ensure any faults can be quickly identified and repaired efficiently.

Our engineers are Logstor trained and typically utilise meggers and riser bonds to asses the type and location of the fault to within an accuracy of approximately 1m utilising your record drawings.
